INTERNATIONAL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Alongside our English players, our programme has also opened their doors to young international players through its unique partnership with Choices International – a leading sports organisation – creating a world-class player development programme which will give international youth talent the opportunity to develop and compete abroad at the highest levels and also continue their academic programmes at the same time.

The National Football Youth League is particularly aimed at talented players who have not gained scholarships at 16, have been released from clubs, late developers or players who just haven’t been noticed yet and need a professional, competitive environment which will allow them to continue to flourish and find a pathway into professional football.

WEST HAM UNITED FOUNDATION TRAINING COMPLEX

The main core training delivery takes place at West Ham United Foundation’s dedicated training ground in Beckton, East London. Its purpose built all-weather full-size state of the art 3G surface is flood-lit and UEFA Accredited; ensuring that the playing surface is of the highest quality to aid performance and reduce the risk of injuries occurring. Student athletes will have access to all training facilities; including changing rooms, showers, self-study and teaching rooms at the Foundation.

The programme also integrates training at two additional facilities across East London and Essex.

LONDON MARATHON COMMUNITY TRACK

Fully floodlit Full-sized 11-a-side grass football pitch.
All-weather, six-lane Mondo 400-metre track – with two eight-lane 100-metre straights.
