Choices International is proud to present the WHUF Summer Camp 2026, an exclusive junior football programme widely recognised as one of the UK’s premier elite player summer camps, running from 5th – 31st July 2026.
Designed for ambitious young footballers aged 9-17 from around the world, this Elite Pro-Experience Football Programme delivers an authentic insight into professional football training in England. Hosted in London and delivered in partnership with the West Ham United Foundation, the programme offers players the opportunity to train in world-class facilities while developing technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.
Participants will train at West Ham United Foundation training grounds, experiencing the same professional environments and coaching methodologies used to develop elite players. Sessions are delivered by highly qualified coaches, focusing on modern training principles, game intelligence, and performance development.
Off the pitch, players are immersed in life in London, one of the world’s most iconic sporting capitals. Residential participants are accommodated at UCL University, providing a safe, high-quality campus experience.

What are the programme dates?
The WHUF Summer Camp 2026 runs throughout July 2026, with flexible start dates allowing players to join for 1–4 weeks.

We highly recommend our two-week residential training programmes, running from 5th–17th July and 19th–31st July, designed to deliver the maximum elite football development experience.
A two-week stay allows players to fully immerse themselves in professional training, benefit from progressive coaching across consecutive weeks, and enjoy weekend excursions alongside new weekly activities that enhance both development and enjoyment.
Sessions operate on a repeating two-week cycle.
What programme options are available?
We offer two flexible options to suit different ages, locations, and family preferences:
Day Camp:
- Ages 9–17
- Non-residential
- Ideal for local or visiting players staying with family
Residential Camp:
- Ages 12–17
- Accommodation at UCL University
- Full immersion football and cultural experience in London
- Includes full board and daily transfers to and from training
Both options include elite football training delivered by the West Ham United Foundation coaches.
Who is the programme for?
The WHUF Summer Camp is for boys and girls aged 9-17 who want to learn, develop, or perform at a higher level in a professional football environment. Players are grouped into three ability levels by coaching staff to ensure appropriate training.
Standard Programme
For players who want to learn or improve their football skills, focusing on technique, game understanding, and match play in a professional academy setting.
Development Programme
For strong-level players aiming to progress towards high-performance football, with advanced technical, physical, and tactical training plus Pro Experience seminars.
High Performance Programme
For players already competing at a high level, using elite training methods, and professional coaching to prepare for top-level football.
Goalkeepers
Specialist goalkeeper training is available for players aged 12-17, tailored to individual ability.
Want to Play Football and Learn English?
English + Football Programme combines elite training with high-quality English language tuition.
- 19 hours of football training per week
- 8 hours of English lessons per week
- English classes are British Council accredited, guaranteeing the highest teaching standards
- Fun, interactive learning with a focus on spoken English in a football context
- Maximum 15 students per class
- Students are tested on arrival and placed by level
Players also benefit from Pro-Experience seminars delivered by West Ham United Foundation staff, covering areas such as player identification, nutrition, and physical conditioning, plus guest sessions with professional coaches.
Each participant receives a personal English Language performance card at the end of the programme.
Additional cost: £150 per week for the English Language course.

I’m a Goalkeeper, can I still join?
Absolutely. We offer optional specialist goalkeeper training, delivered by WHUF-trained, UEFA-qualified goalkeeper coaches, designed specifically for goalkeepers aged 12–17.
Start Dates: 5th July, 12th July, 19th July & 26th July (Camp concludes on 31st July)
Goalkeeper Training Includes:
- Position-specific goalkeeper sessions
- Focus on handling, footwork, shot-stopping, distribution, positioning & decision-making
- Psychological and tactical development for the goalkeeper role
- Small-group training for maximum development
- Opportunities to join selected outfield sessions to enhance overall game understanding
Advanced Goalkeeping (High-Level Players):
- Designed for experienced and high-performance goalkeepers
- Physically and technically demanding sessions
- In-depth work on technical detail, tactical awareness, psychology, and physical conditioning
- Ideal for goalkeepers looking to progress to the next level
- Goalkeeper training follows the West Ham United academy model and takes place at the West Ham United Foundation training complex in London.
How do I get to the programme?
London is easily accessible via major international airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted and St Pancras train station.
Arrivals take place on the Sunday prior to the course start date, and departures are on the Friday at the end of the programme.
Airport Transfers
Choices International offers a private airport transfer service from any London airport, available at any time. This includes a personal meet-and-greet service, ensuring your son or daughter is welcomed on arrival and transferred safely and comfortably to the residence.

Unaccompanied Minors
If your child is under 16 and travelling alone, we provide full Unaccompanied Minor support when required by the airline.
This includes:

Assisting through security procedures

Handing your child directly to the airline’s Unaccompanied Minor representative, if pre-arranged with the airline
Unless we are notified otherwise, this service will be automatically provided and invoiced where required.
Day Camp Participants
For Day Camp players, it is mandatory to:

Check in at the camp residence on the Sunday before the programme starts

Travel with a parent or legal guardian to and from daily training sessions

Arrange independent accommodation for the duration of the programme
This ensures consistent safeguarding and supervision standards for all participants.

UNACCOMPANIED MINOR SERVICE (£85 One Way)
(mandatory always when requested by the airline company)
If your son/daughter is under 16 years of age and travelling alone (without an adult) we will ensure that a member of our team takes your child to the check-in counter and checks him/her in for the flight and accompany him/her to security. If you have pre-arranged Unaccompanied Minor services with the airline, our team member will hand your son/daughter over to the airline representative. Unless we are notified otherwise, this service will automatically be supplied and invoiced.
